ABOUT WEEMS WEEK

 

Since its inception in 2011, Weems Week has become a staple in the Crittenden County community. Through generous donors and sponsors, Weems Week continues to provide vigorous basketball camps that teach basic game principles as well as positive reinforcement through mentorship. At the end of the week, backpacks filled with ample amounts of school supplies are distributed to jumpstart the upcoming school year. As of 2018, Weems Week has directly impacted over 2,000 children in the area and inspired thousands more. Founder Sonny Weems continues to embark on making his hometown community better.
